Otomobil Market is a second-hand vehicle marketplace built around a wedge the incumbents didn't have: a live damaged-vehicle auction with an interest-free deferred-payment flow — pay a quarter up front, settle the rest within 90 days.
We modelled the listings, the live auction engine, and the deferred-payment schedule as first-class entities so the rules lived in the data. The marketplace and storefronts moved quickly on the fastest fit-for-purpose tooling, while the auction and payment state machines got real code where correctness mattered.
The result is a marketplace that does something genuinely new for its market — and shipped in weeks, because the speed saved elsewhere was spent on the one mechanic that was actually hard.
